Everything was exactly how it was described, had a great experience. Genie was lovely, and very accommodating with timings etc. The apartment was spotless and had lots of nice touches dotted around it. 5 min walk to a tube station and lots of pub, restaurants, shops and an ATM in the immediate vicinity. We stayed at Genie place for a family reunion. The house was well-maintained and we had plenty of room for our 12 guests. Short 10 minutes' drive to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants, this is a great location for vacationing with family and friends.

Nos enseñó la casa y nos dio unas indicaciones para comer por la zona y para movernos por el barrio. La casa no es muy grande, pero es funcional y cómoda. Tiene electrodomésticos, dos baños, aire acondicionado (que nos vino muy bien porque llegamos en plena hora de calor). Todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado y los dos baños nos vinieron muy bien para las duchas antes de salir a visitar la ciudad. El barrio es muy tranquilo, bien cominicado y con mucha oferta de cafeterías y comida rápida. A 15 min andando, Notting Hill Gate y, en dirección contraria, un enorme centro comercial con muchas tiendas. Sin duda, repetiremos.

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Fint nabolag, kort vei til Holland park, hyggelige kafeer og undergrunnsbane. Hyggelig vertinne som var opptatt av at vi hadde det bra. Fin leilighet, rent og godt utstyrt med det vi hadde behov for.

Die Lage, ca. fünf Fußminuten von der Holland Park Tube Station entfernt, ist perfekt um die Innenstadt Londons und den hippen, nahgelegenen Stadtteil Notting Hill zu erkunden. Wir waren begeistert. Auch mit dem Bus konnten wir quasi vor der Tür los fahren und waren kurze Zeit später am Oxford Circus mitten im Trubbel. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr geplegt und toll renoviert. Die zwei Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit Bad, waren perfekt für unsere fünf-koepfige Familie (3 Kinder). Auch die Küche, klein aber fein, war bestens ausgestattet zum selber kochen oder wenigstens um zu Hause zu frühstücken. Wir sind immer gerne zum nahgelegenen Italienischen Cafe in der Parallelstraße gelaufen um uns den besten Kaffee der Stadt (gefühlt) zu holen und haben zu Hause in aller ruhe gefrühstück bevor es dann mit dem Sightseeing los ging. Der Eßbereich mit Sofa ist vielleicht klein für unsere Verhältnise aber für das Londoner Nobelviertel zu diesem Preis groß genug und mehr als ausreichend. Die Gastgeberin, Genie, war unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass unter der Wohnung ein Restaurant betrieben wird und die Dunstabzugshaube im Schlafzimmer als leichtes hintergrund brummen bis 23Uhr Nachts zu hören ist. Kurz, wir fanden die Wohnung super und würden sie jederzeit wieder mieten. Ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Genie's flat is so well looked after, with new and modern bathrooms and kitchenette, a light and airy sitting room and bright lighting throughout. It is very clean and the linen was lovely and fresh, my night's sleep was very comfortable. With two bathrooms, two bedrooms and pullout sofa 5 of us slept in their comfortably and I'm sure you could sleep 7 at a squeeze. The flat is a 2min walk from Holland Park tube, a tesco's express and lots of other cafe's and shops so really convenient. Upon arriving at the flat Genie, welcomed us so warmly! She's very down to earth and kind, and was very generous and flexible with her arrangements - she allowed my friends and I a later check out as she knew as teens we'd be back late and want to sleep in early :) thank you Genie for such a lovely stay! Hope to see you again soon X

Location was wonderful. Genie is a great hostess. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Front bedroom was noisy between the band downstairs and the early risers upstairs. Would definitely stay here again and recommend staying here.

My family of 5 really enjoyed staying in the "Courtyard Apartment" (2 beds, 2 baths). The apartment was very clean and all of the furnishings (esp. bathrooms and bedding) were like new. I also like the area. We enjoyed walking to Kensington Palace and Gardens for an afternoon visit. I will say, though, that the closest tube station is closed for repairs until August 2016, so we did have to walk to the next station (about 5 minutes further--for a total of 10 minutes walking). We didn't mind the walk. The area is full of eating places and markets. We tried several and enjoyed them all. The only possible negative about the apartment is that the front bedroom sits over a restaurant, so there is some noise until about 10-11pm at night. Our kids slept through the noise just fine, though, and the back bedroom is perfectly quiet.

We stayed in a different apartment in London later in our stay, and this one was definitely the more comfortable of the two and had the better location.

Property is located conveniently to transport and locations. It is a safe upmarket neighborhood. While it may be small it still had a convenient kitchen, 2 bathrooms and plenty of beds.

The apartment was in the perfect location - removed from the busiest parts of London yet close in proximity. The apartment was also three blocks from a tube station, which made it very convenient to the landmarks of London. We stayed in this beautiful maisonette apartment for my mums birthday and I have to say it was out of this world.

2 huge double ensuite bedrooms, immaculate kitchen and living room and a stunning roof terrace.

the location was perfect with cafe's, bars and a tesco express almost on the doorstep! just a few minutes walk to the tube too.

The owner Genie was fantastic! she met us on arrival in the morning at let us leave our luggage until the apartment was ready so save us paying at Euston to store them. She is a lovely lady and cannot do enough for you, we even had tea, coffee, milk, sweets, mini cereals and fresh fruit for our arrival.

I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment and we will certainly be back. there's no where else in London that compares to this amazing apartment!

This was our first visit to London and I'm so glad we chose to stay at the Kensington maisonette. It is a very nice flat in a great location. It was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family of four. There are two ensuite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Also a comfortable living room with TV and wifi and nice roof terrace. We stayed for 5 nights and would have been happy to stay longer.

We really enjoyed the lovely neighborhood. There were several good restaurants within walking distance as well as groceries and a pharmacy. There is also a bookstore right around the corner which made my daughter very happy. It is close to several tube stations so it is very convenient to get to other parts of London.

Genie was a wonderful host. She was kind and helpful. She met us on arrival and had some drinks and fruit for us. I would highly recommend this maisonette to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, interesting place to stay in London.

My sister and I escorted our 79-year-old mother to England and were lucky enough to stay in Genie's comfortable, well-appointed flat. She is lovely, welcoming, and thoughtful and I hope to stay with her in the future. She provided fruit, milk, coffee and tea, as well as toiletries. Booking and paying were simple, and we merely called her when we were en route from Heathrow so that she could meet us at the door. The flat is on a beautiful street: very safe, 2 blocks from the Holland Park tube station, and around the corner from bakeries and pubs. Very convenient to Portobello Rd Market, Tesco, M&S; a nice walk to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Having 2 levels in the rental made our stay feel very home-like, with the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. It wasn't warm enough to stay on the patio for more than a few minutes, but when we return, we'll hope for warmer weather. Thank you Genie!

Beautiful and well-kept apartment, very comfortable and functional, located in a spectacular area close to subway and public transport. Spread over two levels, the first floor is a full kitchen and a very comfortable living room, while the second floor there are two bedrooms with bathroom insuite very modern and well furnished. I spent 4 days absolutely special, in a relaxing atmosphere. Just outside the flat there are many place for breakfast as Paul, Patisserie Valerie Mason Blanc and very good restaurants and a little more forward, even Italian pizzeria Pizza Metro. The flat is close the Westfield Shopping Center, where you can find more of the best brand shop in London.

I highly recommend booking this beautiful apartment.

There were three of on a graduation trip for our grandson. The space was good for us. The neighborhood was wonderful, 2 1/2 blocks to the underground, nice pub, grocery, pharmacy, what we needed. Genie was very. accommodating. Our only negative was the restaurant below the front bedroom could be a little loud.

Genie is very accommodating and the flat is perfect for a family. Delightful neighbourhood with a Tesco grocery store just around the corner. Short walk to the tube. Would definitely return if the future holds another trip to London.

We had such a great time at Genie’s, the shops, pubs, tube and buses were just around the corner. After sightseeing all day we would sit in the dining/living room area with our wine and relax for the night. We would definitely stay here again, thanks for your generous hospitality.

Location of the apartment was idea. No problems encountered during the stay at the apartment. If returning to London and needing an apartment for 4 or more, will strongly consider renting the apartment again.

Spent just under a week in this flat. The proximity to Holland Park Tube Station was a huge plus for us. The apartment was clean and pleasant as was the local area. Portobello Rd market was just a short walk away. Very happy with our stay.

Fans in each bedroom - A/C unit in family room - useful for summer visits. Very safe neighborhood - would stay again on our return !

Well Balanced decorated Apartment, very Clean all around including the bed linens and the towels,Genie is very hospitable Host & provided us with fresh fruits, coffees, teas, milk, bread & butter. We enjoyed our stay in this up- market area of London. Tesco Supermarket and Holland Park Tube Station is only about 2 minutes walk away. Cafes and several restaurants are nearby. There are also 3 Pubs in the Area.

Stayed here for ten nights at the end of July/beginning of August with my husband and our three kids ages 11-18, and it was great! Even though we arrived late from the U.S. on a Monday night, around 10:30 pm, Genie was there to give us a warm and friendly welcome. We told her beforehand that one daughter has celiac, and she very kindly asked if we needed her to buy anything special to eat or drink beforehand. We declined, but she did have bottled water, milk, and fruit anyway. She also directed us to a couple restaurants right at the corner that would still be open so that we could quickly go grab a bite to eat.

Another reviewer complained about the size of the apartment, and yes, it is small in size, but that is to be expected in a big city. And yes, the bedroom at the front over the restaurant is a little noisy at times, and the blinds in that one bedroom are not of the room-darkening variety, but this did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay. All homes have their quirks, and you simply adjust as needed.

Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, and one has a twin. There are two bathrooms with good showers; no bathtub. There is a washing machine for clothes but no dryer. However, Genie has racks in the apartment that you can use to hang wet towels or clothes for drying. There are three fans in the apartment, which we used to help dry the clothes that we hung. We rarely needed to turn on the air conditioner unit since the temps in London remained in the 70s during the day. On occasion we would turn on the AC, but only for about 30 minutes or so, just to take the edge off. Otherwise, the fans were fine to use.

The location of the apartment can't be beat. Just within a couple blocks you will find restaurants, pastry shops, cafes, a mini Tesco market, gelato place, a Starbucks, and the Holland Park Underground tube stop. You can even keep going and walk down to the next tube stop, at Notting Hill, which has more restaurants and shops. If you go one tube stop the other direction, to Shepherd's Bush, there is a huge Westfield shopping mall with many other stores and restaurants. And it was so easy to go downtown and to all the major London attractions from this location, usually only taking about 20-30 minutes. We used the Tube Map London Underground app to help us.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Genie is so delightful and made us feel like family staying at home! Would definitely recommend this apartment to other visitors and families

My family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) really enjoyed staying in this property for 10 nights. There was a washer and an A/C, not central but 2 room A/Cs and 2 fans which really helped during the summer.

The only possible negative about the apartment is that the front bedroom sits over a restaurant, so there is some noise until about 10 pm, and during our stay, there was some noise and smell from the fan of the restaurant in the back bedroom but Genie told me that they will fix it. The restaurant was closed for maintenance after 3 days of our arrival and there was no noise and no smell. I am sure that it will be fixed.

The location of the apartment was great - we could take the bus and the Notting Hill tube to all places. (The Holland Park tube was closed due to construction). There are many cafes along Holland Park Rd and an easy 5 min walk to Tesco Express for milk etc. And the Portobello Rd was within walking distance.

The apartment was very comfortable for our family of 4. Washer was very convenient. And there was A/C, not central but 2 room A/Cs and those really helped during the summer. The owner was very flexible. We landed at 7:00 AM and were able to check in super early. She did keep milk, coffee, cereal etc. as a part of the welcome kit.

We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others too.

We stayed at Genies Apartment in London & she did mention to us her Villa in Almancil, Algarve, Portugal.So we came few months later & here I have to say. Beautiful, Lovely Spacious & Comfortable Villa ideal for our large group of family & friends. It is also great to have our pint, lunch & dinner round the corner. Pingo Doce Supermarket is super to have our grocery, quick lunch & home made pizza & pasta,

We enjoyed our stay here with privacy. The weather is just perfect; not hot and not so cold. We definitely will come back. We did not see Genie but she called us once or twice during our stay. Thank you Genie.

Home was perfect for me and my extended family. We were in the area to attend a wedding. The home was spacious and had everything thing we needed. I would definitely stay there the next time I visit the Almancil area.

Just a fabulous Owners Direct experience. We had 12 people in the Luxury Villa with Apartment. All were very comfortable. Beds are great, kitchen if you are up for cooking, can handle anything and is well equipped. Perfect size for large group efforts. Cannot say enough good things. If you need a big place, this is it!
